Classes
Anyone can learn Reiki. In order to practice Reiki effectively, it is not necessary to understand how the body functions or how healing occurs. A desire to be well and an openness to allow this creative life energy to flow through you are often your most useful guides.
Reiki is an individual practice of “energy focus”. People can learn how to focus this loving energy through their hands in order to bring care to themselves or others. Each of us is inherently connected to a creative life energy which is always available. It is possible to learn how to focus within ourselves and allow this energy to flow through us, bringing intervention into all aspects of our daily lives.
With each degree, students receives “attunements” which opens them up to receive and pass on Reiki energy. Students are taught how to give Reiki to themselves and others. In the Reiki practice, we take time every day to treat ourselves. A little bit of Reiki every day is an effective form of preventative care and can bring relief to any existing condition.
